Paracas National Reserve Tour: A Half-Day Excursion in Nature
The Paracas National Reserve Tour is a half-day experience designed for travelers who want to immerse themselves in nature and birdwatching along Peru’s stunning coast. Relax as you journey through the reserve, which protects a unique coastal desert landscape teeming with marine birds.
What to Expect
You will board our vehicle to begin a group trip through the Paracas National Reserve. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights about the history and wildlife of the reserve. The journey takes you through the vast desert until we reach the site where the famous natural rock formation known as La Catedral once stood. Unfortunately, this magnificent structure was destroyed by the 2007 earthquake.
At this site, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the desert and the vibrant blue ocean. The tour then continues to the Isthmus of the Peninsula, where you’ll take in panoramic views of Paracas Peninsula before heading to the iconic Red Beach and Lagunillas. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to relax, enjoy lunch, and sip a refreshing drink.
Without a doubt, the Paracas National Reserve Tour offers a unique and unforgettable glimpse into the natural beauty of Peru.
