Day 1: Adventure to the Ballestas Islands and Huacachina Oasis

Experience an unforgettable 2-day tour from Lima to Huacachina, with a stop in Paracas along the way.

Your journey begins early in the morning, with a pick-up from your accommodation between 4:30 AM and 5:20 AM (for pick-up locations within our service area). If you’re outside of these districts, you can meet your guide at 5:00 AM at Starbucks in Barranco. Once everyone is on board, we’ll head to Paracas, making a brief stop for a quick snack.

Upon arrival in Paracas, you’ll board a thrilling speedboat for a tour of the Ballestas Islands, where you can observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and an array of seabirds. While exploring the islands, you’ll also learn about the rich history of Paracas, its unique connection to birdlife, and the mystery of the famous Candelabro geoglyph.

Optional Activity: Instead of the boat tour, you can opt for a 2-hour ATV adventure through the Paracas National Reserve for an additional $16 USD per person. This off-road journey offers breathtaking views of the desert meeting the sea. Please note that choosing the ATV experience will replace the boat tour; both activities cannot be done simultaneously.

After your Paracas adventure, we’ll visit a charming Peruvian pisco vineyard on the way to Huacachina. Here, you’ll enjoy a tasting of various local piscos and wines while learning about the traditional fermentation process. Take in the serene surroundings and savor a delicious, authentic Peruvian lunch with new friends.

Next, we’ll make our way to Huacachina, a stunning desert oasis surrounded by towering sand dunes. This is the highlight of the tour. Take some time to explore the oasis before the real thrill begins: a dune buggy ride through the massive sand dunes. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, you’ll love speeding over the dunes and then trying your hand at sandboarding down the sandy slopes. This experience will leave a lasting impression!

As the day comes to an end, we’ll head to the top of the dunes to watch the breathtaking sunset. It’s a perfect moment to reflect on the exciting day you’ve had. Afterward, you’ll have some free time in Huacachina before heading to your accommodation for the night (not included in the package).

Day 2: Free Time in Huacachina

Wake up in the beautiful oasis of Huacachina and enjoy your day as you wish. You can choose to relax by the hotel pool or take a moto taxi to explore the nearby city of Ica. The day is yours to design!

In the evening, we’ll meet at the Wild Olive Restaurant between 6:30 PM and 6:45 PM to board the bus back to Lima. If your accommodation is within our drop-off zones, we’ll take you there directly. Otherwise, you’ll be dropped off at the meeting point at Starbucks in Barranco.
